Accessibility Statement
Beginner Investor Hub should work for every learner, including people who use assistive technology.
Our target
We design to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. Today the platform is partially conformant: most pages meet the standard, and the limits we know about are listed below.
What works today
- A "Skip to main content" link and keyboard navigation for menus and forms.
- Animations follow your device's reduced-motion setting.
- Lessons come in four formats (visual, audio narration, reading and practice), with a choice of narration voice.
- Text and controls use high-contrast colours on a dark background.
Known limits
- The UpRiverWord game needs arrow keys, a mouse or touch to steer and has no screen-reader equivalent yet. The same vocabulary is available in the glossary and lessons.
- Some charts in simulations do not yet have full text alternatives.
- AI-generated lesson content is checked automatically but may occasionally miss a heading or description.
- Third-party pages we link to, such as our demo booking calendar, follow their own accessibility practices.
Report a barrier
If something gets in your way, email info@beginnerinvestorhub.com with the page and what happened. We aim to reply within two business days and can provide content in another format while we fix the issue.
